Corporate Alliance: Launch of Miami HUB for Real Estate Investment from Abroad

On Friday, July 31st, the grand opening of the new permanent commercial real estate business hub in Florida was held, a key connecting space designed to facilitate and boost investment by Colombians abroad. This in-person gathering took place in the corporate sector of Doral and was driven by the Colombian American Chamber of Commerce Miami as the organizational force behind the encounter.
The opening of this shared office addresses the need to decentralize investment channels and unify services so that the diaspora in the United States can access professional advice and build their wealth in Colombia in an agile and secure manner.
An Integral Showcase for Colombians Abroad
This event highlighted the strategic collaboration of three real estate companies, led by our member Amarilo, alongside Constructora Meléndez and the international marketing firm Kastor. Through this joint effort, the developers aim to mitigate the operational and trust barriers associated with managing transactions from a distance.
During the meeting, valuable insights were shared by the project's leaders:
- Diana Leguizamón, Marketing Manager of Amarilo (our prominent member), emphasized that the shared office reflects the maturity of their international customer care programs. She highlighted that this is not merely a sales point, but a space designed to offer human and technical support where buyers can explore and compare their entire portfolio in one place.
- Juliana Cardona, CEO of Kastor and promoter of the corporate bridge, stressed the importance of building networks that simplify the buyer's journey, combining Amarilo's leadership in the center of the country with the solid regional track record of Meléndez in the west.
- Johanna Vergara, Commercial Director of Constructora Meléndez, explained that this infrastructure will directly connect investors with opportunities in Social Housing (VIS), non-Social Housing (non-VIS), and commercial properties in southwestern Colombia (Cali, Palmira, and Jamundí).
Services and Operational Scope of the Hub
The new commercial space in Florida will provide personalized in-person consulting, mortgage credit simulations, and virtual document signing. It is worth noting that the hub will operate strictly as a consulting and investment center, while standard post-sales technical support and customer service will continue to be managed remotely by each project's sales offices in Colombia.
From the Colombian American Chamber of Commerce Miami, we extend a warm invitation to the entire business community to continue participating in and attending our upcoming events, using these spaces of conversation to connect, broaden their vision, and learn from real-world experiences that strengthen their decision-making.
