Webinar: Leadership Challenges in an Age of Uncertainty

On Tuesday, June 9th, the event "Leadership Challenges in an Age of Uncertainty" took place. This virtual networking space focused on exploring how leading today involves making strategic decisions, adapting to constant evolution, and guiding others with business acumen. The event was organized by Colombian American Chamber of Commerce Miami, reaffirming our goal to integrate and bring real value to our business community.
In the face of current global shifts, the corporate environment demands executives who are prepared to transform challenges into sustainable opportunities. With this purpose in mind, the session provided tools for leaders to develop a more conscious, adaptable, and strategic management style.
To dig deeper into these dynamics, the event featured two experts from Newfield Consulting: Natalia Calle, Managing Partner, and Nicolás Hurtado, coach, consultant, and facilitator. During their presentations, they shared fundamental insights on the direction of contemporary management.
Learning to Learn and Systemic Vision
Natalia Calle highlighted that the primary competence at this moment is developing an internal openness to continuous learning. She emphasized that corporate transformation processes are no longer linear; therefore, it is essential to apply a complex systemic vision that integrates and aligns organizational structure, culture, and procedures with new market realities.
The Leader as an Architect of Meaning
For his part, Nicolás Hurtado stressed the importance of executives assuming the role of creators of new narratives, designing clear purposes that guide their teams. Furthermore, he underlined that fostering emotional agility and establishing spaces for deep listening are vital to interpreting the underlying concerns of collaborators and moving toward an emergent and inclusive corporate strategy.
Toward Adaptable Management
The consolidation of these skills allows corporate leadership to evolve toward a more collaborative and humane model. By integrating lifelong learning, shared purpose, and active hope, organizations succeed in turning constant adaptability into their main driver for growth and competitiveness.
