The Impact of Disorganized Accounting on Businesses: In-Person Event

Last Friday, January 23, the in-person event “Disorganized Accounting Is the Most Expensive Tax” was held, a session designed for business owners and leaders interested in understanding the importance of financial organization as a core component of their companies’ strategic management.
During the presentation, participants explored how disorganized accounting can generate unnecessary costs for businesses, particularly during tax season. The discussion encouraged reflection on the importance of making informed financial decisions and implementing sound accounting strategies to prevent errors, optimize resources, and ensure tax compliance.
The event was led by Juan Felipe Barreto, Business Development Manager at DBCS, who shared his expertise on the impact that clear and structured accounting has on decision-making, business sustainability, and long-term growth.
The session took place at 8:30 a.m. at Urbe University and established itself as a valuable space for analysis and learning for those who recognize that financial organization goes beyond operational matters and becomes a key element of strategic business planning.
From the Colombian American Chamber of Commerce Miami, we invite the entire business community to continue participating in our upcoming events, designed to strengthen knowledge, foster meaningful dialogue, and provide practical tools for effective business management and growth.
